 This year our Kidz Storm takes a little different twist. Last year we traveled back through time, looking at the dinosaur and asking some specific questions about creation, man and God. This year, well, as the name says, we are going on a Great Adventure. Life itself is a great adventure and everyday that God gives us is another adventure. How we spend it with our friends, how we perceive the things that happen to us, how we treat our fellowman and how we serve God are all a part of this adventure. We are going to take a western theme and have a lot of fun. Each night we will explore this adventure called life as we will see what all God has done for us to make each day Great! From the decorations, to the games and the lessons, this will be a lot of fun. Come and join us for a Great Adventure. Please keep checking back, we will keep adding to this page.
You do not have to do a craft at your Kidz Storm, but if you choose to do a craft, then check out the crafts below and make your choice.
The Craft for the Great Adventure
  
For this year's craft you are going to have a choice. If you want to participate in the craft you must choose from one of the crafts above, click on the picture above and order your craft (I will not be bringing any crafts with me).
1. The photo frames come 12 to a package and will accommodate 24 children per package. For about $50 you could handle a craft for 200 children. You will have to get some glue and wet wipes for clean up as well and we will take pictures of the children to put in the frames. This will cost about $10.00 at Wal-Mart depending on the number of children in your VBS.
2. If you choose the Pillow, you get 6 for $20 and they will accommodate 6-8 children per pillow. If you have a VBS of 200, the pillows would cost you about $100 for the craft and you would have everything you need in the craft kit.
3. If you choose the bears, (these are the same type of bears we put together 2 years ago) you will get 20 bears per kit for $16.00. Again, this is going to accommodate about 6 kids per bear. If you have 200 kids it is going to cost you less than $40. You will need to purchase 2-3 bags of poly-fiber fill. About $4 per bag.
The choice is up to you. If you do not wish to have a craft, that is absolutely fine. I will need to know before I arrive so I can prepare the PowerPoint in advance. Be sure to contact me with your decision to do or not do a craft. If you choose to do a craft, which craft you do is your decision, and I do not need to know ahead of time.
Decorating Ideas
  
Banner Door Picture Banner
Oriental Trading has some really cool decorations with a western flare. You can purchase any of the banners above for $10, just click on the banner for more information. These will be a great addition to your VBS and the door banner is a great way to get kids pictures during your VBS. As always we will bring lots of decorations with us for the stage, but this is good for your foyer, outside, snack area and more.
A fund raising idea or just something to identify your workers.
If you wish, you can purchase t-shirts for your Kidz Storm. Use them as a fund raiser or just for your workers and leaders. They can be purchased by simply clicking on the picture above and then placing your order per number of shirts desired. FREE personalization of your shirts with your church's name is available for orders of 12 or more. Prices will vary depending on the amount you purchase. I will bring t-shirts with me and sell them at the Kidz Storm. You will need to place your order no later than 6 weeks prior to your event. Once ordered, you must call Pamm Cordell at 800.443.9523. This will help you keep your order on schedule. If you do not call, you cannot be assured that your order will be received on time.

Preparing for your VBS

Bryan is the Pastor at Faith Baptist Church, Wheelersburg, OH.
Each year Bryan has a wonderful VBS with lots of souls
saved and lives changed. Last year, with teens and adults,
the church averaged 200 plus each night and had 51 professions of faith in the three nights of their VBS. This church is only 5 years old, and at the time was averaging about 150 in Sunday School. They are truly doing something right. Listen to what Pastor White has to share with you from his heart.
