This is a very effective illusion illustrating how we can win the lost. It can be done on a small scale or a large. How big do you want it to be, it is up to you.
What you see: In front of the class are two glass containers. Both are half full of water. One has the word Lost written on it, and the other says saved. Into the one that says lost you begin to drop food coloring, green for envy and lust, yellow for jealousy, red for anger and hatred, blue for bad emotions. Now mix all of the colors together and the “lost” one will become black. You can do this a couple of times, and each time it just gets darker. Now start with the one that says saved. Each time you drop food coloring into it, it just disappears. No matter what you place in it, it vanishes. Proving that sin does not have to rule a saved person. Now, take the “saved” glass, and pour part of it into the “lost” glass and now it too becomes clear. Showing that the “Saved” can help the “Lost” if we will only share our life with them.
How it works: This one is really simple. All you need are two glass containers, food coloring, and bleach. Fill the “Lost” container half way with water and one drop of yellow food coloring. (Bleach has a slight yellow tint) Now fill the “Saved” container half way with bleach. The rest is easy. No matter how much food coloring you place in the water it will only get darker and blacker as you mix the colors. No matter what you place in the bleach it will disappear as the bleach eats the color. No when you pour the bleach into the water it will eat the color in there with a little stirring and you have a wonderful illusion with a dramatic point.
